Emerald cut diamonds are rectangular in shape. They have bevelled corners and rows of stepped facets making this diamond more transparent than over shapes. Because the emerald cut has large stepped facets this will make any internal inclusions more noticeable, so it is always best to select a higher grade of diamond to get the best looking engagement ring.
